Our Values

Cultural Awareness:

We believe that all people the right to the same opportunities as others to succeed regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity or sexual preference. We strive to provide services to meet the needs and diversity of those in our community.

Educational and Vocational Achievement:

We believe that knowledge cultivated by mentoring and training lead to successful, highly educated, competitively skilled employed individuals.

Empowerment and Self-Sufficiency:

We believe that by providing information, resources, support and access to needed services leads to individuals and families to become empowered and to help themselves.

Health and Mental Wellness:

We believe that the key to developing healthy children and families involves active partnerships with local health providers and health and human service agencies. Together we seek to ensure that every child and family has appropriate access to healthcare, education and nutrition. We believe that healthy minds help individuals to make healthy decisions and actively work with mental health providers to identify and coordinate access to mental health services.

Preservation of the Family:

We believe in families. We believe that single parents, two parents and extended parents all have the ability to provide a home, care, support, love and nurturing to children. We believe that providing these families with the necessary support and resources that they need will strengthen families and build stronger communities.

Respect and Tolerance of Others:

We believe that everyone needs to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their economic status, education, race, religion, ethnicity or sexual preference. We believe that that there is no place for violence and believe in the protection, of women, children and the elderly.
